Debbie teaching an old dog new tricks
Deborah Kaplan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio University and a Master of Fine Arts from University of North Carolina - Greensboro. She has studied glasswork with David Huchthausen in Tennessee, china mending and restoration with Gerlinde Kornmesser in Wisconsin, Ceramics and Art History in Greece and England. She has been working in Pottery for over 15 years. Currently she teaches pottery at several schools in the South Florida region as well as conducting private pottery lessons. Each work of art is individually fired and signed by Ms. Kaplan.
