Barking Fish Pottery is the studio of the pottery artist, Deborah Kaplan. Ms. Kaplan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio University and a Master of Fine Arts from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
She has studied glasswork, china mending and restoration over the years along with Ceramics and Art History in Greece and England. She has been working in Pottery for over 25 years. Currently she teaches pottery at several schools in the Southeast Florida region as well as conducting private pottery lessons.
Each work of art is individually fired and signed by Ms. Kaplan.
